Kathmandu, July 13
A group art exhibition ‘Framing Perspectives: A Kaleidoscope of Art, Design, Craft and Photography Exhibition’ began on July 9 at Rich Museum of Craft and Design, Sunaguthi.
This is the newest gallery, which has brought together six artists—Saurganga Darshandhari, Samjhana Rajbhandari, Krishna Gopal Shrestha, Chandra Shyam Dongol, Bijaya Maharjan and Sabin Sainju.
In the exhibition, one can find a diverse range of artistic expressions under the theme of cultural heritage.
Moreover, like the title of the exhibition, it features ever-changing patterns of art, design, craft and photography.
Bijaya, also the curator of the exhibition says, “This exhibition celebrates the rich heritage of artistic expression while embracing the limitless possibilities of contemporary art.”
The exhibition shares the synergies between various artistic practices, which integrate traditional and contemporary approaches, blurring the boundaries between art forms.
The artworks on display demonstrate a profound exploration of techniques, materials and concepts, fostering a dialogue between the past and the present, the familiar and the unfamiliar.
The visitors can encounter striking drawings, paintings and traditional sculptures that challenge conventions, provoke emotions and invite introspection. Each work of art has the artist’s individuality, their personal interpretation of the world around them.
The exhibition continues till July 16.
