Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav elected Nepal’s vice president

Kathmandu, March 17

Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav has been elected the vice president of Nepal.

Yadav of the Janata Samajbadi Party Nepal defeated Ashta Laxmi Shakya of the CPN-UML and Mamata Jha of the Nagarik Unmukti Party during the election held on Friday.

Yadav will take over the second top position in the country after incumbent Nanda Bahadur Pun completes his tenure.
