Udayapur, January 18
An SUV fell off the road, killing one person and injuring five others, at Patakhola, Bijule, Katari municipality-8 of the Udayapur district in eastern Nepal on Monday evening.
The Bolero (ba 10 Pa 4188) heading towards Maruwa from Katari along the Siddhi Charan Highway fell off the road, according to police. Seriously injured in the accident, Bikram Magar (38), a resident of Bijule, Katari-8, died during treatment at the Katari Hospital, informs the District Police Office.
The other five are undergoing treatment at the same health facility, informs DSP Bed Prasad Gautam.
Meanwhile, the vehicle driver Prem Bahadur Shrestha (38) is out of contact following the accident, according to police.
