Police in the Salyan district of Karnali have arrested a man on the charge of killing his own wife recently.
The District Police Office says Kabi Ram Khadka (47), a resident of Timile, Kumakh rural municipality-5 of the district, killed his 42-year-old wife by attacking her with a sharp weapon. Khadka was under the influence of alcohol when he had a fight with his spouse over a family dispute.
The wife died on the spot.
Following that, a team deployed from the Rangechaur Area Police Office arrested him on Tuesday night.
Further investigation is underway.
