Four officers of the transportation department in the Nepal Police Headquarters in Naxal, Kathmandu, have tested positive for coronavirus.
Nepal Police Spokesperson DIG Niraj Bahadur Shahi informs that four tested positive in the Police Hospital. He adds the swab samples of the four officers have been sent to Teku Hospital for further confirmation.
Another high ranking official has stated that after the four tested positive, swab samples of other additional officers collected in contact tracing have been sent for test. While testing them, some of the additional police officers also tested positive, according to him.
