Nepal Covid-19 tally crosses 10,000

Kathmandu, June 23

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 10,092 as of Tuesday afternoon.

In his daily press briefing in Kathmandu, the ministry’s spokesperson Jageshwor Gautam said 531 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

Of total cases, over 2,000 have achieved recovery whereas 24 died, according to him.

The disease has spread across 76 districts of the country.

In various parts of the country, more than 100,000 people have been quarantined waiting to be tested.
