Members of the workers union of Bir Hospital are staging a protest after the hospital tried to hire staff nurses secretively. The hospital, without publishing an advertisement, tried to hire 25 staff nurses.

The union filed a complaint at the CIAA accusing high-ranking official of corruption. In their complaint, they have also written that the officials tried to hire their own relatives. However, the hospital has already started taking interviews.

The recruitment committee of the National Academy of Medical Science is without office bearers. Academy officials state that they are hiring a few staff nurse on contract basis as the hospital desperately needs some at the moment.

Director of the hospital Dr Kedar Sentury refused to talk to Onlinekhabar regarding the issue.
