Kathmandu, February 27
Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management is hosting an International Food Tasting festival (IFT) which celebrates cuisines from different countries. The festival which started from 9th February will continue till April 27th from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm at the academy premises in Lagankhel.
This is the 3rd consecutive year of that the Academy of Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management is hosting the IFT. This year the festival features cuisines from Germany, Malaysia, Russia, Brazil and Korea.
The annual event is organized by the students of BHM third year with the support and direction from the management. The event is seamlessly handled by the students who not only prepare the food but also look after the marketing and sales of the festival. The students say that they serve around 400 people on a daily basis.
The entry fee for the festival is priced at Rs 350 however; students do get a 50 per cent discount if they bring their student ID cards.
