Dhangadhi, August 24
Members of the high-level committe formed to investigate the murder and rape of a teenager in Bhimdutta Nagar, Kanchanpur, have met Province 7 Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatta.
Members of the committee, who arrived in Dhangadhi on Friday morning, assured the chief minister and the family members of the deceased that a thorough investigation will be carried out to bring the murderers to justice.
The victim’s father Yagyaraj Pant urged members of the committee to conduct a fair investigation into the case and urged locals to exercise restraint to help the committee to do its work. । “I believe that the probe committee will find the culprits. I urge everyone to exercise restraint.”
