Three arrested with 5.7-kg gold from airport

Kathmandu, November 6

Three persons have been arrested from the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) possessing 5.7-kg gold.

A Chinese national and two Myanmar citizens who arrived in Kathmandu from Sharjah via an Air Arabia flight were arrested on Tuesday evening, according to the Office of the Armed Police Force Nepal TIA.

Investigation into the incident is underway by keeping the accused at TIA Customs Office.
