The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has decided to prepare an aircraft to bring the bodies of Nepali killed in Israel in the Hamas attack. The ministry is currently in talks with Israel on how to move forward with this.

According to the decision made on Monday, the Ministry of Tourism is preparing to send the aircraft to Israel, said Budhisagar Lamichhane, Joint Secretary of the Ministry.

“We cannot just fly to a war zone. We need to coordinate with the relevant authorities and are in constant contact on how we can bring back the bodies of the deceased,” said joint secretary at the ministry Buddhi Sagar Lamichhane.

Lamichhane said the Ministry would either use the Nepal Airlines or the Himalaya Airlines for this. He said Nepalis in Israel will also be brought back home in the same aircraft.
