Design and build

After the launch of the Apache series by TVS back in 2006, the design DNA has been the same with modern and aggressive looks evolving in the series. The TVS Apache RTR 310 has the same design philosophy as a naked street bike. The edges are sharp with the frame and other parts being open while the colour accents and is inspired by the Apache RR 310. It looks like a combination of the Apache RR 310 and the TVS Raider.

The tank is muscular with sharp edges and graphics. The seats are also sporty with a two-step design, the driver’s seat is lower while the passenger’s seat is high. The RTR 310 is also available with pro kits which offer different kinds of other features. The main one is a climate-controlled seat which offers three levels of heating and cooling, the first in the segment.

The RTR 310 has a 5-inch full-colour TFT instrument cluster. It provides information such as speed, RPM, Fuel level, engine temperature, gear position, time, trip meter, distance to empty, service reminder and warning lights.

The instrument cluster also helps with different settings like the tune settings, cruise control, headlamp brightness, GoPro settings, music and modes. There are 5 ride modes; Urban Mode, Rain Mode, Sport Mode, Track Mode and Supermoto Mode.

The exhaust muffler is similar in design to the Apache RR 310 with a rumbling and bass sound when accelerated. The design of the exhaust is kind of questionable for many people because of the big size. As for torque, the bike provides maximum torque of 28.7 Nm @6650 rpm in Sport, Track and SuperMoto mode whereas it provides 27.3 Nm @6600 rpm in Urban and Rain mode.
