A tiger was found dead in Rapti Sonari rural municipality-2 of Banke.
An adult tiger was found dead at Ashok Community Forest in Kachnapur around 7 pm on Tuesday. According to Ganesh Khadka, Acting Forest Officer of the Division Forest Office, Banke, the cause of the tiger’s death in unknown.
The health examination of the tiger is being done on Wednesday. According to the locals, the tiger was seen in the village a few days ago. The tiger also attacked the livestock reared by the locals last week.
Shyam Shah, conservation officer of the park, said that the same tiger was suddenly found dead on Tuesday.
