WordCamp Kathmandu 2023 is being held on September 8 and 9 at Alice Receptions in Kathmandu.
The event, which focuses on all things WordPress, aims to bring together users and enthusiasts of web content management system.
Organisers say the main purpose of WordCamps is to make Nepal’s WordPress community better and stronger. They say the attendees can engage in discussions, gain knowledge about WordPress, connect with like-minded people, contribute to the community, and more.
The event has been divided into two days and the first day is reserved as Contributors Day to celebrate existing contributors, meet new people and learn about the different ways one can get involved in the project.
“Contributor Day is for everyone. All skills and levels of experience are welcome and needed,” says the organisers.
The second day however is reserved for a conference where speakers from different backgrounds will share their experiences using WordPress to develop websites in and away from Nepal. These sessions will cover a wide range of topics, ensuring valuable content for everyone, from beginners to seasoned experts.
