Samsung has launched its new smartphone in India, the Samsung Galaxy F34 5G. The smartphone is the continuation of the F series from Samsung. It is also expected to launch soon in Nepal. After the A series, the F series is the popular and loved option from Samsung in Nepal. This smartphone falls under the lower mid-range option from Samsung.
The F series has a separate fanbase in Nepal. The Samsung Galaxy F22 which was launched back in July 2021 has gained wide popularity for delivering a power packed performance in its price range.

Design and Display
The design of the Samsung Galaxy F34 5G closely resembles that of the Galaxy A34 5G and Galaxy M33 5G. It features rounded corners and a rectangular shape with a sleek, glossy finish. On the back, the rear triple-camera setup is vertically aligned in the upper left corner like the whole Samsung lineup this year. The camera module is subtly elevated from the main back panel.
The front includes a notch at the top housing the selfie camera. The bezels are decent with a bit bulky chin at the bottom. It features a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 (FHD+). It boasts 16 million colours for vibrant visuals and a smooth experience with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Performance and storage
The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G is powered by the Exynos 1280 chipset built on a 5nm process. Its octa-core CPU consists of 2 high-performance Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.4 GHz and 6 power-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0 GHz. The Mali-G68 GPU handles graphics smoothly and runs on Android 13 with One UI 5.1.
It is available in two RAM options of 6 GB and 8 GB. Both options are paired with one storage option of 128GB. It also has an external MicroSD card slot of up to 1TB.
It also has a RAM Plus feature allowing the smartphone to increase its RAM size virtually using the storage.
Camera
The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G is equipped with a triple camera setup on the back. The main camera is a 50MP sensor with an aperture of F1.8, offering autofocus and optical image stabilisation (OIS) for steady shots.
Accompanying it is an 8 MP ultra-wide camera with an F2.2 aperture and a 2 MP depth camera with an F2.4 aperture. The rear cameras support digital zoom up to 10x and has a flash for capturing images in low-light conditions.
Video recording is good, with the smartphone capable of capturing UHD 4K videos at 30fps, 1080p videos at 30fps and slow motion videos at 240fps in HD resolution.
On the front, a 13 MP camera with an F2.2 aperture handles selfies and video calls. The front camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.
Battery and Others
The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G is powered by a powerful 6000 mAh battery which has a video playback time of up to 24 hours and audio playback of 158 hours. It supports 25W wired charging. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, along with Bluetooth 5.3 for seamless wireless connections.
The device is equipped with a variety of sensors including an accelerometer, fingerprint sensor, gyro sensor, geomagnetic sensor, light sensor, and virtual proximity sensor. For audio, the phone features a loudspeaker and a 3.5mm audio jack.
It is available in two colours; Mystic Green and Electric Black.
The Samsung Galaxy F34 5G is expected to launch soon in Nepal with a price tag of Rs 32,000 for the 6/128GB variant and Rs 36,000 for the 8/128GB variant.
