Jhapa, August 25
Police have arrested three people who attacked an on-duty Police Inspector with an axe.
Those arrested are Ashok Pokharel, Arun Tamang and Laxman Tudu.
The three attacked Police Inspector Yuvaraj Katuwal who was on duty in Shivasatakshi municipality-9 on Thursday.
Katuwal was injured in the incident and is currently being treated at B & C. Medical College.
Police have confiscated around 100 milligrams of liquid that looks like brown sugar from those arrested.
Further investigations are ongoing.
