First on the list of flagship smartphones is Xiaomi 13 Pro which was launched in the first week of April 2023 in Nepal. The Chinese manufacturer Xiaomi’s budget and mid-range smartphones are very popular in Nepal and this flagship also caught the eye of many Xiaomi users and enthusiasts.

The Xiaomi 13 Pro features a redesigned, sleek design with a pleasing curved display. It sports a 6.67-inch curved WQHD+ AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1900 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, it offers two RAM variants (8GB and 12GB) and storage options (up to 12/512GB).

The highlight of the phone is its collaboration with Leica, featuring a triple camera setup with a 1-inch sensor and various photography modes. It has a 32MP front camera and supports high-quality video recording.

With a 4820mAh battery, it supports 120W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The phone also includes LiquidCool Technology for efficient cooling and offers security features like an in-screen fingerprint sensor and AI face unlock.

Samsung’s flagship smartphone for the year 2023 is the Samsung S23 Ultra. This flagship has recently got a sweet price cut in Nepal.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra maintains a similar design to its predecessor, the S22 Ultra, with a boxier look and a heavier feel. It has a 6.8-inch Edge QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2x Infinity-O Display with a resolution of 3088 x 1440 pixels and a super bright display with a peak brightness of 1750 nits.
