Biratnagar, April 6
Police in the Morang district of eastern Nepal say they detained 52 SEE candidates at a Secondary Education Examinations (SEE) centre in Gramthan rural municipality-2 on Thursday.
The students were taking the social studies test today.
DSP Ranjan Dahal of the District Police Office says the students were detained at the local Saraswati Secondary School for further investigation.
“We have been informed that many of them were fake examinees.”
Most of the detainees were taking the exams as students of the Naragram Secondary School.
