Dhangadhi, November 30
A 21-year-old woman was found murdered by using a sharp weapon at Baladanga, Shivanath rural municipality-6 of the Baitadi district on Sudurpaschim.
Maya Luhar, a resident of Sailoda, Pancheshwar rural municipality-4 of the district, was missing since Tuesday, but she was found dead near a Shiva temple at Baladanga, according to police.
Inspector Lokraj Joshi, the District Police Office spokesperson, says Neha Luhar (15), who accompanied the victim, was found injured.
She has been referred to Dadeldhura Hospital after primary treatment at Patan Primary Health Centre in Baitadi. She is reported to be critical.
The duo had left the village saying they had to get their clothes sewed. After they did not return home until late at night, the families informed the police.
The law enforcers say further investigation is underway.
