Rautahat, July 15
Two children have been found dead in the Bagmati river in the Rautahat district of southern Nepal.
The two children from the Durga Bhagawati rural municipality of the district were missing from Thursday, but they were found dead in the river this morning, according to police.
The deceased have been identified as Harsha Jha from Matsari, Durga Bhagawati-3, and Aditya Das from Bhalohiya, ward 2. They had gone to the river to bathe after their school, informs DSP Sunil Malla of the District Police Office.
Every year, hundreds of Nepali children drown owing to different factors.
