Biratnagar, July 22
An India-registered container truck has hit and killed two persons at Ganga Chok, Budhiganga rural municipality-2 of the Morang district in eastern Nepal.
The truck (HR 38 X 2210) hit a motorbike (Ko 3 Pa 9103) from the back side, killing the rider and the pillion rider on the spot.
The victims have been identified as Harka Pariyar (27) and Bhim Bahadur Rai (21), residents of Kerabari municipality-7 in the district.
Following the incident, locals blocked the road for a few hours.
Meanwhile, police have arrested the truck driver for further investigation and action.
