Kathmandu, July 24
Three persons died when a tree fell on the road crushing a moving bus and a scooter on Sunday.
Chief District Officer Rudra Devi Sharma says the tree crushed the eastward bus (Ba 2 Kha 3584) and scooter (Ba 61 Pa 3978) at Sallaghari, Bhaktapur municipality-1.
One of the victims has been identified as Nitej Kharbuja whereas two others are yet to be identified.
Other 12 people have been injured and they are undergoing treatment at Iwamura Hospital and Bhaktapur Hospital.
The road has been blocked due to the fallen pine tree and efforts are underway to remove it, according to Sharma.
