Unattended USD 10,800 found on Buddha Air aeroplane

Kathmandu, April 25

Flight attendants of a Buddha Air were taken by surprise on Sunday evening when they recovered USD 10,800 in cash in one of the plane seats.

Nepal Police says the attendants had found the cash in the seat of the aircraft that came to Kathmandu from Bhadrapur.

After they found the cash in the parked aircraft, they handed it over to the ground in-charge, who submitted it to the police via the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal.

Police have forwarded the case to the Department of Revenue Investigation for further investigation and action.
