Dhangadhi, March 28
Kailali police have arrested two men in their 60s for raping minors in different cases recently.
In Chure rural municipality of the district, 60-year-old Tilak Shahi has been arrested on the charge of raping an 11-year-old girl in the neighbourhood, informs DSP Bed Prakash Joshi, the spokesperson of the Kailali District Police Office.
Further investigation is underway by keeping Shah at the Malakheti Area Police Office in Kailali, according to police.
In another similar case, Kallu Damai (60) has been arrested for allegedly raping a minor in the Ghodaghodi municipality, according to DSP Laxman Bahadur Shahi, the chief of the Sukhad Area Police Office.
Further investigation is underway in this case also.
