Birgunj, March 18
A four-year-old child has died after being hit by a motorbike in Jitpur Simara sub-metropolitan city-18 of the Bara district on Thursday.
The victim has been identified as Riyan Thapa Magar (4), a resident of Badaharwa, Jitpur Simara-18.
He was hit by the motorbike at Moti Chok along the Piluwa-Kalaiya road section. Seriously injured, he was taken to the Neuro Hospital in Birgunj, where he died during treatment, according to DSP Manojit Kunwar, the chief of the Simara Area Police Office.
