Kathmandu, February 23
Folk singer and actor Jaya Nanda Lama has been found dead on Wednesday morning.
Marich Man Shrestha aka Balchhi Dhurbe, the director of Halka Ramailo, a teleserial which Lama was also a part of, confirmed his death. Shrestha says Lama was found dead outside his vehicle at the entrance of his house in Lokanthali of Bhaktapur.
DSP Raju Pandey, the information officer at the Metropolitan Police Range in Bhaktapur says Jaya Nanda Lama had left his Bhaktapur house at around 7 pm yesterday saying he had a meeting to attend in Baudhdha of Kathmandu.
Saying it has been suspected that he collapsed and died while getting off his car this morning, Pandey maintains further investigation is underway.
