Butwal, February 22
One person died in a tipper-scooter collision at Intakhola, Sainamaina municipality-11 of the Rupandehi district in Lumbini on Monday afternoon.
The victim has been identified as Gayatri Acharya (64), a resident of Sainamaina-11, who was riding pillion on the scooter (Lu 36 Pa 9891) that collided with a tipper (Lu 2 Kha 5793) yesterday afternoon.
Police say the scooter rider, whose name is not revealed yet, is undergoing treatment at Hirachandra Medical, Saljhandi of the district.
The tipper driver has been arrested for further investigation.
