A man died in a hit and run case in Shreegaun of the Dang district in the wee hours of Friday.
The victim has been identified as Suman KC, who appears to be in his early 30s, a resident of Dangisharan rural municipality-6 of the district. The vehicle involved in the accident is not identified yet.
Seriously injured in the accident along the Tulsipur-Surkhet road at around 4 am, the man died while being taken to the Rapti Provincial Hospital, Tulasipur of the district, informs DSP Shyamu Aryal of the Tulasipur Area Police Office.
Meanwhile, locals have obstructed the Tulsipur-Hapure road section demanding action against the culprit and assistance to the victim’s family.
Police say they are searching for the vehicle.
