4 killed in Myagdi road accident

Beni, November 30

Four persons have died in a road accident in Beg, Raghuganga rural municipality-1 in the Myagdi district of western Nepal on Monday evening.

An SUV (Ga 1 Ja 7251) heading towards Sim from the district headquarters, Beni, had skidded off the road and fallen 300 metres down at Aunla at around 5 pm, yesterday.

The victims have been identified as Gaumaya BK (30), Dut Bahadur Thapa (35), Khim Pun (30) and Khimananda Sharma (45), informs police inspector Birendra Raj Gurung. BK is a member of the Raghuganga rural municipality’s ward 1 committee. Likewise, Thapa is the vehicle driver.

Pun and Sharma died on the spot whereas Thapa and BK breathed their last while being taken to the Manipal Hospital in Pokhara for further treatment.
