Two persons have died when a truck hit them in Sainamaina in the Rupandehi district of Lumbini along the East-West Highway, on Tuesday morning.
The victims have been identified as Radha Bhattarai (42) and Mahesh Bhattarai (22), residents of Sainamaina-5. Mahesh is Radha’s son.
The two were waiting for a vehicle at Buddhanagar bus stop when the truck (Na 8 Kha 4411) coming from the western side hit them, informs the Lumbini Provincial Traffic Police Office.
Seriously injured in the accident, the two breathed their last at the Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal, it has been learned.
