Kathmandu, September 23
The Metropolitan Police Range in Kathmandu has urged house owners in the district to record details of their tenants including their names, addresses, contact information and pictures so as to avoid any untoward incident during the festive season.
Citing the vulnerability property crimes such as theft and burglary is likely to increase around the festive season of Dashain, Tihar and Chhath, the law enforcers say every citizen should keep themselves alert against any of such incidents.
The law enforcers have urged the citizens to keep an eye on strangers who frequent their neighbourhoods and show unnatural activities.
They have been told to inform the police if they find anyone’s activities suspicious.
