3 missing in Trishuli car plunge in Chitwan

Kathmandu, September 24

Three persons have gone missing when a car plunged into the Trishuli river from the Prithvi Highway at Nagdi Khola, Ichchhakamana rural municipality-5 of the Chitwan district, a few minutes after Thursday midnight.

The Chitwan District Police Office says the four-wheeler (Ga 2 Cha 4918) heading towards Pokhara from Kathmandu plunged into the mighty river after the driver lost control over the vehicle.

The missing ones have been identified as Prem Bahadur Bhujel (550, Lekh Bahadur Bhujel (55) and Ishwari Bhujel (36), residents of Pokhara-17 in the Kaski district.

Prem Bahadur was behind the wheel when the car fell around 35 metres down the road.

Police have launched a search mission.
