A woman has been arrested on the charge of murdering her husband, in Tulsipur of the Dang district in Lumbini on Sunday.
Police claim Devi Kumari Yogi (56), a resident of Tulsipur sub-metropolitan city-3, killed her husband Khim Lal Puri (78) in the wee hours of Sunday owing to a domestic dispute.
The Tulsipur Area Police Office chief DSP Shyam Aryal says Yogi had fatally attacked Puri with a sickle and a bamboo stick, claiming the suspect already confessed to the crime.
Further investigation is underway.
