Kathmandu, July 28
Two persons have died when a truck fell into the Karnali river in Kalikot of the Karnali province on Monday afternoon.
The victims have been identified as the truck driver Deepak Saud and his assistant Ramesh Bahadur Shahi, permanent residents of Baitadi and Bajura districts respectively in the neighbouring Sudurpaschim province, informs DSP Chakra Shahi of the District Police Office.
The vehicle (Na 7 Kha 9516) heading to Jumla from Nepalgunj of Banke had plunged into the mighty river at around 4 pm yesterday from the road in the Shubhakalika rural municipality of Kalikot.
