Kathmandu, June 23
Three persons from a family died after being buried in a landslide in Rolpa of the Lumbini province on Tuesday night.
The victims have been identified as Karmita Budha (86), Shyam Kala Budha (16), and Sushila Budha (18).
DSP Naresh Subedi of the Rolpa District Police Office says the landslide had buried their two-storey house in Huma of Rolpa municipality of the district last night.
Tika Budha Magar has sustained injuries in the incident. Because landslides have blocked the road, preparations are underway to airlift the injured to a hospital in Butwal of Rupandehi.
