Nepal reopens scheduled flights to 4 destinations

Kathmandu, May 28

The government has decided to reopen scheduled flights to four destinations.

While the government has suspended regular flights until May 31, a cabinet meeting held on Thursday evening decided to reopen flights to China, Qatar, and Turkey, according to Civil Aviation Minister Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal.

Two flights to New Delhi of India are operating every week without any interruption. Now onwards, the flights will resume to Beijing of China, Doha of Qatar, and Istanbul of Turkey also from June 1, informs Dhakal.

Passengers boarding these flights need to have PCR negative test report for the coronavirus. Those who have received all doses of vaccinations can stay in home quarantine after the travel whereas others need to stay in designated hotel quarantine.
