Nepal Covid-19 tally: 4,831 PCR and 97 antigen new cases added in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 29

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 317,530 as of Thursday afternoon.

The ministry says 4,831 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 12,597 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 458,565 people have been tested in the country.

Likewise, in this period, 963 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 97 were found infected.

As of today, 34,117 cases are active.

In the past 24 hours, 888 people have achieved recovery whereas 35 deaths have been reported.

Of the total cases so far, 280,167 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 3,246 died, according to the ministry.

Nearly 60 are quarantined across the country.
