Nepal Covid-19 tally: 4,364 PCR and 160 antigen new cases added in 24 hours

Kathmandu, April 27

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 307,925 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 4,364 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 14,672 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 432,089 people have been tested in the country.

Likewise, in this period, 1,009 people underwent antigen tests for the virus, of which an additional 160 were found infected.

As of today, 26,224 cases are active.

In the past 24 hours, 555 people have achieved recovery whereas 18 deaths have been reported.

Of the total cases so far, 278,506 people have achieved recovery. Likewise, 3,194 died, according to the ministry.

Nearly 60 are quarantined across the country.
