Janakpurdham: Woman staying at hotel with hubby found dead in mysterious circumstances

A woman who was staying at a hotel in Janakpurdham in Dhanusha of southern Nepal with her husband has been found dead in mysterious circumstances on Wednesday.

Sirjana Sunar, 30, a resident of Melani rural municipality-7 of Myagdi, and her husband Bishwas Shreepali, had checked in at the Sarlahi Hotel and Guest House at Ramananda Chok of Janakpur sub-metropolitan city on Monday.

But, her body was found in the mud outside the hotel today, informs Makendra Mishra, the District Police Office spokesperson.

Police say she had come to Janakpur to obtain a scooter riding licence. Her husband had returned home from foreign employment just two weeks ago.

It is not yet clear if she jumped off the hotel room to kill herself or she was murdered. Further investigation is underway.
