Nepal Covid-19 tally: 125 new cases, 90 recoveries in 24 hours

Kathmandu, February 22

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 273,556 as of Monday afternoon.

The ministry says 125 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 3,681 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 143,315 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 1,529 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 269,966 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,061 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 90 people have been discharged whereas zero deaths have been reported. 

Over 50 people are quarantined across the country.

414,215 people have been vaccinated so far.
