Janakpurdham, February 21
A woman has been found dead inside a hotel room in Janakpurdham, the Province 2 capital.
Police say the woman, identified as Samiksha Pokharel Pandey, a permanent resident of Jaleshwar municipality-2 of neighbouring Mahottari district, was staying in room number 113 of Namaskar Hotel in Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan city-7 since Friday.
The woman, who appears to be in the mid-30s, was in Janakpur to lodge a complaint against her husband at the District Police Office, according to the DPO Spokesperson Makendra Kumar Mishra.
Police are looking into the case.
