Kathmandu, February 22
Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana and Chief of Army Staff Purna Chandra Thapa have held a meeting on Monday afternoon, according to sources.
Thapa had gone to the Supreme Court to meet Rana today. Details of the meeting, however, are not divulged yet.
The meeting takes place at a time when the constitutional bench led by CJ Rana has concluded the hearing of the case related to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s decision to dissolve the House of Representatives and the country is waiting for the verdict.
Hence, the meeting has been considered meaningful.
