Nepal Covid-19 tally: 303 new cases, 285 recoveries, 6 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, January 26

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 270,092 as of Tuesday afternoon.

The ministry says 303 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,574 swab samples were tested. So far, 2 million and 52,687 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 3,252 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 264,823 people have achieved recovery whereas 2,017 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 285 people have been discharged whereas six deaths have been reported. 

The recovery rate as of today is 98.1 per cent.

Over 100 people are quarantined across the country.
