Nepal Covid-19 tally: 743 new cases, 952 recoveries, 5 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 23

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 255,979 as of Wednesday afternoon.

The ministry says 743 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 6,559 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million 890,740 and people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 7,715 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 246,661 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,803 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 952 people have been discharged whereas five deaths have been reported.

Over 400 people are quarantined across the country.
