Nepal Covid-19 tally: 608 new cases, 892 recoveries, 9 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 25

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 257,200 as of Friday afternoon.

The ministry says 608 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 4,142 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million 900,392 and people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 7,092 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 248,292 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,816 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 892 people have been discharged whereas nine deaths have been reported.

Over 300 people are quarantined across the country.
