Nepal Covid-19 tally: 534 new cases, 447 recoveries, 9 deaths in 24 hours

Kathmandu, December 31

The Ministry of Health and Population has informed that the country’s Covid-19 tally has reached 260,593 as of Thursday afternoon.

The ministry says 534 new cases were confirmed in the country in the past 24 hours.

In this period, 6,000 swab samples were tested. So far, 1 million and 932,477 people have been tested in the country.

As of today, 6,378 cases are active.

Of the total cases so far, 252,359 people have achieved recovery whereas 1,856 died, according to the ministry. In the past 24 hours, 447 people have been discharged whereas nine deaths have been reported. 

Over 350 people are quarantined across the country.
