Janakpurdham, November 26
A woman has been found dead in her home in Belakuti, Janakpur-7, Dhanusha, at around noon, on Thursday.
The Dhanusha District Police Office has identified the woman as Rekha (the second name unavailable) in her early 20s. Further details regarding her identity are yet to be disclosed.
Dhanusha police spokesperson Makendra Kumar Mishra says the police have not been able to find the deceased’s husband who, the locals claim, is on the run.
The body, according to Mishra, has been taken to a provincial hospital in Janakpurdham for postmortem.
“We are still investigating the case,” says Mishra.
