Former vice-chairman of the National Planning Commission, Rabindra Kumar Shakya, is no more.
Suffering from Covid-19, Shakya breathed his last during treatment at Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Kathmandu this morning, according to family sources.
Shakya was also the founder of The Shakya Foundation.
Shakya had tested positive for the coronavirus on November 5, and was hospitalised after five days. He was on a ventilator for the past few weeks.
