Two persons have died after being hit by a car along the East-West Highway, at Pipari Chok, Rapti rural municipality-4 of Dang.
The four-wheeler Scorpio (Ba 20 Cha 5744) had hit Raj Kumar Chaudhary (50), and Nishan Chaudhary (8) on Saturday evening. Seriously injured in the incident, they died in the course of treatment at different health facilities in Banke and Rupandehi districts respectively.
Three other local women were also injured, but they are undergoing treatment in Butwal of Rupandehi.
Further investigation into the case is underway.
