Kathmandu, May 1
A shooter has targeted the chairman of ward 8 of Yashodhara rural municipality in Kapilvastu district of Province 5 on Friday morning.
An unidentified person tried to shoot at Sahabuddin Musalman this morning, according to police. He, however, managed to avoid the shot.
SP Deep Shamsher JBR, the chief of the District Police Office, says a local has been arrested on the suspicion of involvement. Further investigation is underway.
